KRISTA HOOSE

You only get one life. You can either choose to follow your passion, or you will regret all of the chances you didn’t take. There is no better time than the present. “Writing songs, playing different instruments, performing solo and with other people, that’s what refills my cup. Music has touched my soul, and I only hope to pass that on and inspire or evoke emotion in others.”

TALL TALL TREES

Tall Tall Trees is the pseudonym of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Savino. Moving to New York in the early aughts with aspirations of being a bassist in the city’s vibrant jazz and experimental music scene, Savino soon switched his focus to banjo and writing songs, resulting in the eponymous 2009 debut, Tall Tall Trees. In the decade since, Savino has toured non-stop, pioneering a world of psychedelic electric banjo music, captivating audiences with his loop-based one man shows, as well as alongside frequent collaborator, Kishi Bashi.

SATURDAY

LAYLA PRICE

Saturday 08/15 || 12:00-12:45

I don't like to label my music with one particular genre, but if I must, it would be Country-Folk or Alt-Country. I like to pour different flavors into my songs from varying influences.

FREDDIE BOURNE

Saturday 08/15 || 1:00-1:45

Bourne has scored a top 40 hit in the Netherlands, released three more EPs, and toured across the United States. His new EP, “The Troubled Boy at the Bonfire Disco” comes off as a deep-house pop record with tribute to late 90’s and early 00’s pop music, that Bourne dubs as “conscious house-pop” music as the music is danceable while the songwriting is relatable.
